The Interstellar Ghost Ship at the End of the Road — 2022. Graphic novel. Available in paperback and Kindle.
Jack is a tall, furry businessman from a distant region of the galaxy. He recently fell through a portal and landed in a forest near a dead-end road in Florida. He now lives in a small rental house and eats squirrels. His neighbor, Julie, frequently screams at him about his eating habits.
One afternoon, a space soldier also falls through the portal. While Jack gives the confused soldier a tour of the neighborhood, an elderly woman named Nelda assumes they are both children wearing Halloween costumes. She invites them to her house.
Jack and the soldier sit in Nelda’s kitchen, eating ice cream. Then a man named Latimer Quartus arrives in a space capsule and knocks on Nelda’s door. Latimer is a technician who travels around the galaxy, closing portals. He wants Jack and the space soldier to take him to the portal in the forest.
When they walk to the end of the road, Latimer discovers there’s much more than a portal in the forest.
